A glycolic peel dissolves the glue that holds dead skin cells together, loosening them from younger skin cells underneath. The result is superficial peeling without excessive irritation. Jessner peel involves a combination of AHA/BHA that penetrates deeper and provides greater exfoliation of the outer layers of skin cells.
