Enza Essentials Skin Care
Before you can chart an effective skin care regimen, it is important to understand how your skin functions. A certified skin care specialist will advise you of the best methods and products for healthy skin through a free skin care consultation.
QUALITY SKIN CARE takes a plan and your commitment.
Enza Essentials skin care products are sold individually to allow you
the freedom and flexibility to purchase only those products you want.
This simple approach gives each person a foundation for effective, long-term
skin care. Healthy radiant skin can be achieved in four easy steps:
- Cleanse: Healthy skin begins with proper cleansing.
We must cleanse away dirt and impurities that can clog the pores.
- Tone: Toners complete the cleansing process by
removing the last traces of make up and the cleansing residue.
- Moisturize: Moisturizers form a protective barrier
against dryness. They also hydrate, condition and nourish the skin.
- Exfoliate: Revitalize your skin with a special
scrub, masque and moisturizing treatment. These refine and polish
the skin leaving your complexion smooth and conditioned.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR SKIN TYPE
Enza Essentials skin care products are available for normal/dry, normal/oily
and combination skin types. The product line is appropriate for men,
women and children.
Follow these 10 guidelines to determine your skin type and
the Enza Essentials products that are right for your skin.
Great skin is only 10 easy steps away.
- Determine your skin’s personality with this
simple test: Wash your face, skip the moisturizer, wait an hour and
then take four pieces of transparent tape and place one in each of
these areas: chin, forehead, cheeks and across the nose. Gently pull
off the tape and observe the sticky side. If it holds flakes of skin,
you have dry skin in that area. If it has a greasy print, you have
oily skin. If you have dry in some areas and oily in others, you have
combination skin. Take a closer look at your face. Do you see a few
pimples? You may have minor acne. Do you frequently have a redness
or irritation? Your skin is probably sensitive.
- Cleanse Faithfully. Always use a cleanser suited
to your skin type. If your skin is oily or acne-prone try Foaming
Cucumber Cleanser or Deep Purifying Cleanser. Dry skin and sensitive
skin call for a creamy cleanser that won’t strip the skin. We
recommend Honey Cleansing Milk. Combination skin is usually oily in
the T-zone with the cheeks being normal to dry. Use Foaming Cucumber
Cleanser, effective for oil control but mild enough for the cheek
areas.
- Moisturize Religiously. Skin of any type needs
a barrier between it and the environment. Dry skin requires ingredients
like hyaluronic acid, Shea butter, vitamin C, and Bio-peptides. Try:
Botanical Bio-peptide Creme, Nutri Creme and Vitamin C Creme. Combination
skin requires a lightweight, water-based moisturizer like Multivitamin
Aloe Conditioner or Peptide Treatment Lotion. For oily skin try Oil
Blotting Hydrating Lotion or Overnight Oxy-Complex. Sensitive skin
is extremely fragile and requires a lightweight formulation such as,
Multivitamin Aloe Conditioner or Soothing Liposerum.
- Exfoliate to Rejuvenate. Exfoliation products
remove dead skin cells that accumulate on the skin’s surface
to reveal soft, smooth, glowing skin. For oily skin, try Fine Facial
Beads containing rice bran to absorb oil and Vegetable Mud Masque
containing vegetable extracts that act as a toning emollient. For
dry or sensitive skin we recommend Soft Grain Scrub, a gentle formula
of fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids combined with aloe vera to
polish the skins’ surface. Combination skin types should use
Oatmeal Buffing Creme to draw out impurities from clogged pores and
gently soothe and heal skin. This is also mild enough to use on sensitive
complexions.
- Don’t Worship the Sun. As the years go by,
doctors are seeing more cases of melanoma. It is always a good idea
to protect skin from sun damage. Maximum use of UVA/UVB sunscreen
protection will reduce the risk of skin cancer and postpone the signs
of aging. Use Advanced Protection SPF 30 or Essential Sunblock SPF
15 as part of your daily routine.
- Pamper Your Eyes. Skin around the eyes is prone
to fine lines, dark circles or puffiness. In some cases, circles are
due to heredity or they’re an indication of illness or lack
of sleep. In addition to getting more rest, certain products can reduce
puffiness. Certain peptides act as decongestants around the eye area
and are formulated to nourish and protect the delicate tissue around
the eyes. Recommended eye products: Eye Bright Intensive Eye Creme
and Microsome Eye Gel.
- Keep an Even Tone. Hyperpigmentation can be caused
by everything from acne and hormonal changes to burns and sun damage.
To even out skin discolorations, look to the ingredients hydroquinone
and kojic acid, which act by breaking up melanin formation. Try Skin
Lightener and team it with Glycolic Serum to deeply penetrate the
skin. Skin Lighteners should only be used on the areas of discoloration.
- Schedule Regular Visits. Facials and Aesthetic
treatments stimulate blood circulation and the flow of oxygen to purge
skin of toxins imbedded in pores. For the best results, get monthly
aesthetic treatments such as, Facials, Lite Chemical Peels and/or
Microdermabrasions to unclog pores, smooth out the skin’s surface
and brighten skin tone.
- Develop A Plan. Schedule a consultation with one
of our professional Skin Care Specialists to evaluate your skin care
needs and develop a skin care plan for you skin type and lifestyle.
- Make a Commitment to Yourself. Beautiful skin requires
effort on your part. It is all about drinking at least eight glasses
of water every day to cleanse your system and making sure your diet
includes lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and fiber to keep your body
hydrated and rid of toxins. Supplement your diet with vitamins, especially
A,C, E and B complex. Do not skimp on sleep, you do need your “beauty
rest”. Balance all of this with the proper Enza Essential skin
care products and treatments to maintain a beautiful and healthy complexion.
